We are seeking qualified candidates to fill immediate openings for Industrial Journeyman Electricians and Top Helpers.  This is working on a major project going on in the N.Charleston area. 

Industrial Journeyman Electricians & Top-Helpers for immediate work!
Duties include, but not limited to:

• Cutting, bending, threadind, running, pulling wire, and other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to Read Blue Prints
• Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Have +/- 5 years experience as a Industrial electrician (Journeyman).
• +/- 1- 2 years experience as a Industrial Top-Helper.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blue prints and drawings.
• Must be willing to work various shifts if necessary.
• Experience and proficiency running electrical conduit with precision expertise.
• Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand.
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
• Must be able/willing to climb a ladder.
• Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish.
• Possess "all" basic hand tools (i.e. channel locks, screwdrivers, volt meter, battery drill, side cutters, etc.).
• Essential skills include: excellent organization and time management
  with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

About the Job

We are hiring electricians for a project located in south Florida.​  The project is a prevailing wage, multi-year project with electrician pay starting at $25 an hour.​ 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ø  Responsible for executing repairs and maintaining all primary and secondary electrical distribution systems up to 13.​2 KV.​ 

Ø  Troubleshoot and repair VFD’s, PLC’s and all other control systems.​ 

Ø  Install and maintain complete electrical system including panels, lighting and outlets involving both above and underground raceway.​

Ø  Adhere to company Safety and Health Program.​

Ø  Install and test electrical motors.​

Requirements and Skills

Ø  Team player.​

Ø  Leadership skills.​

Ø  Self-starter.​

Ø  High voltage distribution and PLC experience.​

Ø  Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.​

Ø  Working knowledge of industrial control schematic.​

Ø  Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations and ordinances.​

Ø  Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.​

Southeast electrical contractor is hiring Electrical Service Technicians for service work in the Upstate South Carolina area.  Electrical Service Technicians must have experience in troubleshooting and repair and be comfortable responding to customer requests during normal business hours but also after hours and weekends.  Applicants must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug screening.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

●  Minimum 5 years’ as an electrician with on-call service responsibility experience.

●  Electrical license a plus, but not required.

●  Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

●  Ability to troubleshoot and repair variety of electrical systems.

●  Ability to operate various lifts and other equipment.

●  Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.

●  Dependable with ability to work after hours and weekends and have 24-hour on-call responsibilities.

●  Professional appearance and attitude a must.

●  Computer experience required (basic understanding of Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

●  Knowledge of safe work practices and ability to adhere to company Safety and Health Program.

●  Must be a self-starter. Must be able to work alone or with little supervision.

●  Must have the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.

●  Basic understanding of electrical codes, regulations and local ordinances a plus.
